Dag 7
Het kerstverhaal (deel 7/24):
Want een kind is ons geboren, een zoon is ons gegeven. Deze namen zal hij dragen: wonderbare raadsman, goddelijke held, eeuwige vader, vredevorst.
De engel zei tegen Maria: “Wees niet bang Maria, God heeft je zijn gunst geschonken. Maria, je zal zwanger worden en een zoon baren en je moet hem Jezus noemen.”
De afkomst van Jezus Christus was als volgt: toen zijn moeder Maria al was uitgehuwelijkt aan Jozef, maar nog niet bij hem woonde, bleek ze zwanger te zijn door de heilige Geest.
De engel zei: Jozef, zoon van David wees niet bang om Maria, je vrouw bij je te nemen, want het kind dat ze draagt is verwekt door de heilige Geest.
Mattheus 1:21 ‘Ze zal een zoon baren. Geef hem de naam Jezus, want hij zal zijn volk bevrijden van hun zonden.’
The Christmas Story (part 7/24):
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given and His name will be called: Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus.”
Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit.
And the Angel said, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.”
Matthew 1:21 “And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”
Opdracht:
Koop vandaag iets lekkers voor in iemands schoen en neem dit mee als je deze week bij iemand langs gaat zodat je het stiekem in de schoen kan stoppen.
Task:
Today is Sinterklaas. Buy something tasty and bring
this with you when you visit someone this week, so you
can secretly leave it as a little gift in their shoe. (This is a Dutch tradition.)
