Retreat day for ministers and pastors

Multicultural day of rest and reflection on the theme: Father, make us one.

On Monday, January 19, 2026, the Migrant and Church working group is organizing a multicultural retreat day for pastors with and without a migrant background.

Everyday life all too often robs us of time. In particular, time for rest. Can you make a different move? We serve the Creator of time: what does Jesus want to teach you so that you can find rest in life and ministry?

Prayer, rest, and space. In every corner of the church, in every culture, the pastor with a responsibility for pastoral care needs a place to be still.

Come to the special retreat day on Monday, January 19, in the building of the Evangelical Brethren Church in Zeist and find that place of seclusion with like-minded people. Come to rest and, together with colleagues from different churches and cultural backgrounds, receive nourishment for your soul in the busyness of your work.

The theme “Father, make us one” will be explored in an inspiring lecture on prayer by Dr. Joseph Bangura, affiliated with the PThU and ETF Leuven. This retreat day is the sixth edition of the annual conference organized by the working group.

Thanks to a subsidy from the Protestant Church, the personal contribution is low: €12.50.

Ministers receive PE points for attending this day.
